congrats to this bloke, but lets be honest. the mass amount of bandwangoners is just hilarious. Most of you people wouldnt have even had a clue who this fellow was or a thing about the tour de france before he won.
Nice to see he wins this year, it´s about time. He work so hard for so many years and this time their tactics and his team who truly determined to take care of him really did the trick. It seems, he is destined to win this year. if Contador never had the those accidents in the first week which made him so behind in time for nearly 4 min., it makes me still wonder who will be on the podium iin Champs´Eysees among Cadel, Contador or anyone of the Schlecks brothers. I can´t wait for next year.
were the schleck brothers sleepin during the time trial? how did they stuff it up so badly? you would think andy would of busted his guts out to secure victory especially after last year just being beaten.
perhaps they thought the time trial was really a leisurely cycle checking out the sights of grenoble. ahahahhahahaha!!!!
I am not a cycling fan, but I must say I do watch the tour de france each year as I love watching the men in tights on bikes : )
What I want to know is if there is still one stage to go – how can he be assured of the win – is it possible that one of those brothers will challenge ? or is that not the done thing to do ?
@NicolaiResch I was pulling for Andy, both of the Schlecks are cool dudes and very talented riders. But I will take Evans winning over Contador any day!!!
He is humble which to few sports people have well done mate
FUCK YEAH CADEL!
Un beau vainqueur pour un beau tour de France. Bravo Cadel !
I don’t know why exactly but I find this very moving, very emotional. congratulations Evans!
